BD BodyGuard™ TPN Infusion Sets

The BD BodyGuard™ TPN Infusion Sets are designed for the administration of parenteral nutrition fluids and lipid-based infusions. They are available in multiple configurations.

  • All infusion sets feature a microbore tubing with low priming volume
  • They also include an anti-siphon valve which prevents against free flow and back flow
  • This range features a 1.2 micron in-line filter in all set configurations
  • The set with manual priming valve offers an easy way to prime the infusion set at home

BD BodyGuard™ PCA Infusion Sets

The BD BodyGuard™ PCA Infusion Sets are designed for the administration of pain management therapies, including patient-controlled analgesia (PCA). They are available in multiple configurations.

  • All infusion sets feature a microbore tubing with low priming volume
  • They also include an anti-siphon valve which prevents against free flow and back flow
  • The colour-coded tubing helps set identification for intravenous pain therapy (blue, blue-striped)
  • Options are available with 0.2 micron in-line filter and low sorbing, PE-lined PVC tubing

The Regional Anaesthesia and Epidural Infusion Sets are designed for the administration of analgesics and anaesthetics. They are available in multiple configurations.

  • They also include an anti-siphon valve which prevents against free flow and back flow
  • The colour-coded tubing helps set identification for epidural (yellow, yellow-striped) and regional anaesthesia (grey, green)

Our BD BodyGuard™ Regional Anaesthesia and Epidural Infusion Sets are available with NRFit™ ISO 80369-6 compliant connection.

NRFit™ connection features a unique design specific to neuraxial applications and regional anaesthesia that is incompatible with connectors used in other clinical applications.

  • All infusion sets feature a microbore tubing with low priming volume
  • They also include an anti-siphon valve which prevents against free flow and back flow
  • The colour-coded tubing helps set identification for epidural (yellow, yellow-striped) and regional anaesthesia (grey, green)
  • NRFit™ ISO 80369-6 compliant connection helps prevent misconnections and improve patient safety

The range includes primary and secondary lines, which allow the administration of multiple infusions through the SmartSite™ Y-ports.
