Overview

Highlights

When your patient's therapy needs include a central line along with acute dialysis, choose the Power-Trialysis™ Catheter. It is indicated for hemodialysis, hemoperfusion and apheresis through the venous and arterial lumens, and the third lumen can be used as a central line and is indicated for power injection of contrast media, central-venous pressure monitoring, blood draws and the infusion of medications.

In today's environment, reducing exposure to the clinician and the patient is extremely important. Having a central line integrated within an acute dialysis catheter may reduce clinician exposure with fewer dressings to maintain, and may help improve patient experience by having fewer vascular access sites.

The Power-Trialysis™ Catheter family is made up of 12 and 13 Fr triple-lumen, short-term dialysis catheters.

All Power-Trialysis™ Catheters are offered in standard kits as well as maximal barrier precaution kits.

Features and Benefits

Flexibility

  • The oval catheter shaft demonstrated better kink resistance than competitive triple-lumen dialysis catheters*
  • The thermosensitive polyurethane catheter shaft provides stiffness during insertion, but softens at body temperature

Utility

  • The third power-injectable lumen is easily identifiable and provides additional access for multiple therapies
  • Multiple insertion lengths of 12.5 cm, 15 cm, 20 cm, 24 cm and 30 cm (lengths vary per catheter configuration)
  • Straight, curved and Alphacurve™ catheter configurations
  • Standard kit and full max barrier tray options

Reliability

  • Demonstrated a reliable flow rate up to 400 mL/min and recirculation of 2% on average through simulated testing*
  • Enables clinicians to facilitate compliance with federal regulations and guidelines

results.

Additional features

  • Third purple lumen can be used as a central line and is indicated for power injection of contrast media, central-venous pressure monitoring, blood draws and the infusion of medications.
  • Clamps indicate priming volumes
  • Rotatable suture wing for catheter adjustments
  • Depth markings facilitate insertion of catheter to desired depth
  • Oval catheter shaft designed for kink resistance
  • Catheter shaft comprised of thermosensitive polyurethane, which softens at body temperature, but still provides stiffness during insertion
