Overview
Hydrophilic tip and a PTFE coated shaft

The Solo™ PLUS Guidewire is designed to facilitate the placement of diagnostic devices, therapeutic devices, and catheters. The guidewire is offered in a variety of diameters, tip designs, and stiffnesses. The Solo™ PLUS guidewire has a 5cm (1.96") hydrophilic coated polymer tip to facilitate access and a PTFE coated body to aid in handling and manipulation of the guidewire. The guidewire comes in a protective hoop, sterile and ready for single use.

  • Proprietary kink-resistant TRITON™ alloy has increased stiffness compared to Nitinol to facilitate device passage in tortuous anatomy.
  • The 0.035" SOLO™ Plus guidewire shaft is up to 41% stiffer than the 0.035" Boston Scientific Sensor™ guidewire.*
